Coaching Clinique

Here is a personal invitation to attend a Coaching Clinique for coaches working in Girls’ and Women’s football at all levels including schools, youth clubs, junior leagues and senior NIWFA clubs.
The Coaching Clinique will be held on Sunday 7 March at the Dub Playing Fields, Upper Malone Road Belfast.
There will be a practical session from 10.00am – 12.00 noon followed by workshop from 12.15 – 1.30pm. Tea and coffee will be served during the break between the two sessions.
The practical will be a Guidance Resource for Developing Players in a Club Training Session while the Workshop will an open forum to discuss how we can work together to better prepare players for both club and International games. With this in mind I intend to take the opportunity to discuss the proposed training schedule for the various players in the International squads and also to discuss the International fixtures agreed to date and how these fixtures fit in with the player’s individual fitness and development programmes.
While I appreciate that this applies to some clubs more than others I nevertheless believe that the sessions will be beneficial to any clubs that have aspirations of developing players to become International players. By looking at the range of sessions I believe that you will see something that will benefit all players.
